Accelerating Scientific Discovery With Expert Specimen Support

The Biobank & Molecular Analysis Program (BMAP) at 消消消消消消消娼瞳 Childrens is a fully staffed, CAP-accredited. state-of-the-art facility. Our team has extensive expertise in biorepository, genomic sequencing, and molecular analysis services. We help accelerate research for clinicians, investigators, and partners locally and globally. We collaborate with leading institutions, including Thomas Jefferson University, University of Delaware, ChristianaCare, the American Lung Association, and many others.

Our biobank is one of the largest and most diverse repositories with more than 15,000 collected specimens (and growing)油in our 消消消消消消消娼瞳 repository, plus an additional 500,000 specimens in the American Lung Association sponsored Lung Health Cohort repository.

Specimens油include油solid/liquid tumors, tissue, cartilage, cells, blood, stool, and more. We offer油next generation and single cell sequencing,油spatial profiling,油digital PCR, gene expression analysis, mononuclear cell and油nucleic acid油isolation油and extraction,油and other leading-edge molecular capabilities.油

We deliver high-quality, compliant specimen collection, processing, storage, and analysis services for a broad range of projects. With advanced technologies and instrumentation, we empower life-changing pediatric research.

Specimen Submission, Use & Handling

To use our services, researchers need an .

Sign in to your iLab account or register for a new account. If you have questions about your iLab account, please email us.

Specimen
Submission

To submit a specimen for processing, researchers must complete a form through iLab.

Once in iLab, navigate to油Request Services, then select the appropriate service request.

Note:油Sending specimens to an external institution requires a material transfer agreement and a data use agreement. You can access these by contacting our Office of Technology Transfer.油

If you have any questions about submitting a specimen, please油email us.油

Clinical Trials Processing油

To submit a clinical trials processing request, researchers must complete a form through iLab.

Once in iLab, navigate to油Request Services, then油Biobank Service Request. The form is called Clinical Trials Processing Services.

If you have any questions about clinical trials processing, please email us.油

Specimen Use

Before using specimens, researchers must obtain approval from the 消消消消消消消娼瞳油Institutional Review Board.

Consenting Process

We encourage clinical providers to leverage their patient relationships to obtain consent themselves. However, we are fully trained to assist in the consenting process if needed.油

Please email us油with questions about the consenting process.
