In China, where I grew up, there were many patients but only a few doctors. I was determined to become a doctor to help the sick and vulnerable and to make a difference. I have dedicated myself to my patients. But for me, being a mother is the most important job of all. I have been involved in the diagnosis and investigation of neuromuscular diseases, brain tumors, and intractable epilepsy disorders for many years.
