Get to Know Me
I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. At an early age, I felt I could best help people by being a doctor. I fell in love with otolaryngology during medical school, fascinated by the anatomy of the head and neck, especially the ear. This led me to a fellowship in hearing (otology), how the brain helps us hear (neurotology) and skull base surgery.
Why I Treat Children
Finding and treating ear illness early is so important to preventing hearing loss, dizziness and facial weakness. Happy, healthy, hearing children function better at home and at school — and have a much better chance of reaching their full potential in life as they grow and learn.
What I'm Passionate About
Not being able to hear well affects every part of a child’s life. So I am passionate about hearing health and committed to finding a way to maximize the hearing ability of every child I treat. I am especially interested in the areas of:

- Cholesteatoma

- Acoustic neuroma
- Ear canal atresia
- Auditory neuropathy
- Lateral skullbase encephaloceles

My team, including our nurses and audiologists, are all focused on individualizing care for each child. We have many state-of-the-art options available, from surgical procedures to non-surgical treatments and hearing technologies.
