Dr. Mariella De Stefano has been a pediatric dentist  for 25 years. She’s been an educator and practitioner at  several universities in the United States and involved in social work activities both in the U.S. and abroad. She also loves to travel.Â
Why I Treat Children
I love children and finds it easy to relate to them. My family taught me the importance of helping others and I carry those values with me every day. I have always had a passion for helping children.Â
What I'm Passionate About
I’m passionate about education. As chief of Dentistry at ¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ·, I worked to grow the residency program and continue to make improvements for residents.
How I Try to Make A Difference
I try to connect with others on a personal level and attempt to understand people’s feelings and perspectives by imagining myself in their situation. This approach helps me build rapport and create a sense of connection.
